The Treellions Campaign

The Treellions Campaign is a youth-led, community-driven initiative by LeadingSpace designed to inspire everyday citizens to take climate action. From 24th to 30th November 2025, the campaign will pilot in Nairobi at Shell Mumias Road in Buruburu and Shell Lavington Green, in partnership with Vivo Energy.

At its core, Treellions turns ordinary fuel stations into climate action hubs. Visitors engage in short, 5-minute conversations about the importance of trees and the environment, then receive a seedling to plant. Those who commit to planting and monitoring their tree for six months become Treellionaires — everyday climate champions.

This campaign addresses Kenya’s environmental challenges, including shrinking green cover and urban heat, while contributing to global climate goals. By starting locally, Treellions aims to create a model that can scale nationally and internationally.
