🌳 Treellions Campaign: A Small Nairobi Start With a Global Goal
Most big ideas don’t start big — they start somewhere small, local, and practical.
For the Treellions Campaign, that “somewhere” is Nairobi.
From 24th to 30th November 2025, LeadingSpace will be piloting Treellions at Shell Buruburu (Mumias Road) and Shell Lavington Green, in partnership with Vivo Energy. And the mission is simple: give everyday people a chance to plant one tree, understand why it matters, and commit to taking care of it.
🌱 Why Treellions?
Treellions is built on one simple idea:
If one person can plant a tree, what happens when millions do it?
Every participant becomes a Treellionaire — someone who picks a seedling, plants it, and monitors its growth for at least six months. No fanfare. No ceremonies. Just practical climate action in real life.
🇰🇪 Why Start in Nairobi?
Nairobi is the perfect testing ground.
The city is feeling the pressure of heat, rapid development, and shrinking green spaces. Tree cover in many areas is going down, and the effects are visible — hotter days, polluted air, and reduced biodiversity.
If a simple, convenient model like Treellions works here, it can work anywhere.
🌍 Where This Is Going
Treellions isn’t designed for Nairobi alone.
This is just the pilot phase — the first proof of concept before rolling out the model across counties in Kenya, then across the continent, and eventually into global fuel and retail chains.
The world is looking for climate solutions that ordinary people can adopt easily. Treellions is built exactly for that.
