The Treellions Campaign – Pilot

The Treellions Campaign is a youth-led, community-driven initiative by LeadingSpace to inspire Nairobi residents to take meaningful climate action.

During the campaign week, we’ll turn fuel stations into climate action hubs. Visitors will engage in short 5-minute conversations about the importance of trees and the environment and receive a tree seedling to plant.

Participants who commit to planting and monitoring their tree for six months become Treellionaires — everyday citizens taking responsibility for a greener, healthier city.

This pilot initiative addresses urban environmental challenges, including shrinking tree cover and heat islands, while creating a model that can scale across Kenya and globally.

How to Participate:

1. Visit any of the participating Shell stations during campaign week.

2. Engage with our youth volunteers for a brief climate chat.

3. Pick up your seedling and commit to planting it.

4. Track your tree’s growth via the Treellions app.
